North Alabama Health & Wellness Fair
The Annual North Alabama Health and Wellness Fair is scheduled for September 23, 2023 at the Calhoun Community College Huntsville campus. The fair will last from 10:00am – 1:00pm. The 100 Black Men of Greater Huntsville are excited about the opportunity to serve the community with some of the best FREE health/medical screening and testing available in the Tennessee Valley.
We have accepted the challenge of leadership which requires active involvement in movements to eradicate health disparities and to embrace a lifestyle that promotes good nutrition, physical activity, and ownership of our health. Our goal is to raise health awareness/education and to provide access to FREE health care and health information that will ultimately promote good behavior changes resulting in a healthier lifestyle.
COVID-19 Drive-Up Testing
The 100 BMOGH and the NCBW 100 have coordinated a Covid-19 Drive-Up Testing station at Calhoun Community College(South Side) on August 12, 2020 from 2pm-5pm. We have teamed up with Central North Alabama Health Services, Inc., a community leader in providing health care services, to help bring awareness of our community’s fitness while trying to tackle this deadly virus over North Alabama. We are inviting each 100 member and their family to join us as we fight to know our health status to help prevent the continuing spread of this virus and protect the people that we love and care for dearly.
The 100 Black Men of Greater Huntsville, Inc. believe in making scholarship a reality for our youth. Therefore we have initiated a new plan called the “10 for $10 Challenge” as our way of keeping this dream alive. We have challenge each of our members to first donate $10 to the challenge and to challenge 10 other people in their community to donate $10 also. Then they will challenge 10 other people in their community to do the same. And it goes on and on.
We are challenging everyone to click the link below and give a tax deductible minimum of $10! We need everyone’s support to make this challenge a great success. So, let’s begin today.
